The Following increases in limits to payments made under the Employment Rights Act 1996 come into effect from 6 April 2015:
Maximum weekly amount paid under the insolvency provisions of the legislation, increases to £475.
The limit of the Statutory Guarantee payment made to employees laid of work moves up to £26 per day.
The Minimum Basic award for unfair dismissal increases to £5,907 and the maximum compensation payable for unfair dismissal increases to £78,335.
For the calculation of redundancy pay and the basic or additional award for unfair dismissal, the limit for a week’s pay increases to £475.
